Where is the Best Eyebrow Threading & Shaping in New York, New York?
I’ve had my hair cut and styled (and permed) by Rodney for almost 10 years and going. He was recommended to me by a friend of mine who swore by him and after having my first hair cut with him, I understood why she would be such a loyal customer. My brother in law has been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years and has an eye for hair cuts and coloring — and he has admired Rodney’s handwork on my hair every year I see him at family functions. I can go there with utter trust that he would do the right thing for me.As for the salon, he had recently moved to Roy Teeluck and I was truly impressed with the care and service I received there – they not only serve the usual tea and coffee but wine! The place is also very cozy and beautiful, and I got a complimentary manicure by Edith, who did an amazing job with my nails.Came out of there glowing with new hair and new nails.Pros + Excellent skills and eye for detail and balance.Cons – None that I can think of.
I have been to countless Spas in the tri-state area, experimenting with different styles of facials for my difficult and stubborn unhealthy skin. Not only did Skintology create a noticeable difference after my first visit, it was clear (pun intended) that once I walked through the door I was going to return. I was suddenly sedated by the atmosphere of the Spa and forgot that I was in the city at all. As for the facial, the textures and smells that saturated my skin.. I felt like an Egyptian God! I strongly encourage anyone and everyone to go to Skintology and experience what I had, you will not be sorry. I also just recently decided to try something new and got Eyelash Extensions for the first time. It takes about three hours but the result is the definition of perfection. I no longer have to put on any makeup because my eyes look ten times bigger than I imagined. Skintology does wonders! I have had multiple technicians at Skintology and I honestly cannot decide who is better than the
I always dreamed of having lush eyebrows like Brooke Shields. However, genetics did not grant me such luck, plus a facial cyst left me with a pesky surgical scar in the middle of my left brow. After years of over-plucking, over-tweezing and more recently over-threading, my brows were always in a perpetually thin, misshapen phase. I think it is safe to say that most women with sparse eyebrows like myself dread the excruciatingly long regrowth phase or the thought of waking up next to Mr. Right without properly penciled brows. I thoroughly researched all options and just before heading to the drugstore to pick up Rogaine Extra Strength to expedite my eyebrow growth, I discovered the technique of eyebrow embroidery. I was a bit skeptical, since it is my face and I would rather go au natural than come out looking like Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.In my research, I came across La Peau Day Spa in Manhattan. I called for a consultation and was given an appointment with their beauti
