Where is the Best Eyebrow Threading & Shaping in Miami, Florida?
I was very impressed with the quality of service at Ugo’s. I’ve had many facials in the past and for years I only went to one Esthetician. I really thought she was the best. My husband overlooked this detail when he purchased a spa package gift certificate for me for Valentine’s Day. He was so proud of himself for thinking of this gift that I didn’t have the heart to tell him how terrified I was of seeing anyone else for my skincare. I thought of applying the facial credit towards another service but for some reason when I met Maria, something told me to give her a try and I’m sooooo glad I did. From the minute I sat in her chair I felt at ease and received the utmost attention to detail. It was a facial like no other! I felt so relaxed I think I even fell asleep for a little while. I am constantly moving/traveling and always looking for top-notch salons in different cities and great hair care is one of the few things that I don’t mind splurging on. I’ve been to a few salons in the Miami area now that vary in price range (and quality), and as someone who is so frequently a salon’s “first-timer”, I pay particular attention to how salons treat their new clients. With that said, I was extremely impressed with the genuine hospitality with which iSalon embraced a new customer from the time that I called to schedule an appointment through the follow-up conversation I had once the service was complete. Many salons will stick one of their junior-stylists on a newcomer or dupe you into buying unnecessary products or services, but iSalon did exactly the opposite – my services were done by a very well-trained stylist and by no means was anyone pushy. I’ve been to this salon for Brazilian wax about four times with Tiely. The best thing about having her do this is that she is a true “professional”. She brings respect, and a strong work ethic to this most “uncomfortable” situation (girls, you know what I mean). She is very attentive to detail and very quick. The other day I had the Brazilian, butt strip and underarms and was in and out in 45 minutes. The prices are definitely reasonable, you get 15% discount the first time, and a frequent customer program gives you points and subsequent discounts. Tiely favors the wax that you dries first and then rips off by itself (much gentler), but for stubborn hairs she uses the honey with the strips. There’s free parking (unheard of in the Grove) and the salon itself is very conveniently located, clean, bright and welcoming. I live in Downtown so it’s a bit out of my way, and I would recommend they put earlier hours (they open at 11am), although I’m aware that I would be in the minority
I first visited Glamour by J’s after thoroughly reading all of the reviews on in style magazine ,yelp,new beauty & CitySearch i had to come and check out what was so special about this waxer named Amelia. I loved the family atmosphere that greeted me upon entering the place and how I was treated as a vip guest. I had the pleasure of receiving my wax service by Amelia and my mani & ped from Sueli (the nails were a bit pricey but totally worth it, my pedi lasted almost a month . Never before had I experienced such a team effort to make me feel as if i was at home . Oh, and they use natural products that will not damage your skin or the environment.I have been back 2 times to Glamour by j’s and every time I visit, I am treated with the same attention as the first time. Moreover, I always leave knowing that my mani/pedi & bikini is exactly what I was looking for impecable even though I may not have been able to explain it clearly when I arrived there.
