Where is the Best Eyebrow Threading & Shaping in Los Angeles, California?
I visited the Anastasia salon in Beverly Hills a few years ago. The woman who did my eyebrows did not stop talking the entire time, acted like she was hot stuff for working in a salon in Beverly Hills and that it was all “ritzy and snooty” so she called it. My eyebrows when she finally finished after she kept talking and pausing to gossip with the other eyebrow ladies, looked terrible! I looked like a clown, the price was too much, and I felt as if all the ladies just kept laughing at all the clients. I even tried the “Anastasia” brand again at Nordstrom’s in Santa Barbara and the eyebrow lady there made them totally uneven! I have nice brows, thick and easy to shape. I have now found at the Benefit Store on 3rd Ave. and Montana Ave, they do a nice job for $18-$20. They even do brows at the Benefit counter at the Bev Center Bloomingdale’s, Barbara is the best. I won’t waste my time or hard earned money at Anastasia ever again!Pros + Free parkingCons – Bad attitude, poor s
I really NEVER write reviews. I am far too busy for this kind of thing. But my experience at Treats For The Face ( Hair Salon Skin Care Waxing Bar & Boutique) was something to rave about! I drove by “treats” a few months ago and I fell in love with the cozy, non-clinical atmosphere, which is hard to find. They use very natural product lines, which are amazing and its almost impossible to find a spa that has all these qualities. They customize your facial based on your skin type and personal goals. My skin looks radiant! Veronica and her creation straight out of a little girls dream tale, combined with the fantasies of a little girl who knew she would one day have a place that catered to the needs and desires of every woman. Who happen to be inviting, gorgeous, made me feel at home, offering me a drink, and making sure I was comfortable. Not like the snob fake you deal with at many of the spas in LA. They were so REAL, it was like hanging with a couple of girlfriends. They also have an
I have known Bob for over 20 years, and I think we’ve become good friends during that time. But it’s not due to that friendship that I write this review, it’s mainly due to the few bad ones I’ve read so far on the site. Yes, it can take longer in his salon than in others, no, he probably won’t care that you’ve been sitting there annoyed, listening to him go on and on about something you don’t care about. But if you really trust his judgement and experience and you let the rest be part of the price you have to pay for that level of expertise, you too will become hooked like many others. Over that many years it was natural we would disagree on many issues, and once I even took a one year break from him. During that time I had my hair colored (but not cut) by others, but I was never happy. I had to return to him and accept that Bob was a package deal, and that the positives more than outweigh the negatives. My husband and I moved to Las Vegas in 2005 and since then I’ve been driving the 4
I have to say I was a bit unsure when I decided on the oxygen facial. I’ve had all kinds of facials, but an oxygen facial? How different could it really be? Yes, Madonna swears by them, so she must know something more then I do, right? From the moment I laid down on Ricki’s amazing table, I knew I was a gonner. She worked her magic hands over my face, cleansing, exfoliating, extracting, then the Intraceuticals O2 facial begun. She sprayed this serum, which I’m told contained many different vitamins and she infused them into every pore on my skin. It was absolute HEAVEN! Now I understand why oxygen is so important to the skin. After her massage, which included hands and feet, she applied more products on my skin that felt like warm velvet. I felt like I was levitating..(well, kinda lol)I didn’t want to leave. The experience was so decadent. My skin looks so good. I swear I look like i did 10 years ago. I can’t wait to do it again!Pros + cozy atmosphere
After moving from London to LA I was amazed and appalled by the quality of facials offered here. My frustration intensified when my mother, 70, who has adhered to her monthly Casi facial faithfully for as long as I can remember (she looks fabulous by the way), commented that yes my skin looked okay but “your face needs a little lift darling, if only you could find the Caci here, such a pity!” And so my search began, I called eveywhere but no one had even heard of the facial European women where doing more regularly than flossing. Finally I found Blush LA, my search was over! I have been going to Jane-Ann for 2 years now, and hate to admit but my mother was right, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!” The Casi is the best non-surgical face lift you will ever find!
