This place is okay and the food is not bad. It is nothing to write home about but the prices are fair and the service is good. I like it that the owner works there too and takes the time to make sure your meal is right or address any potential issues. I think some people here have overrated it, but again, it is worth the money if you just want some run of the mill, very eatable, pleasent food. Dont make a special trip.

When i come to firebowl, I am reminded of Pei Wei (A lower end Chinese Restaurant). The restaurant has a trendy look to it on the inside and a nice patio to enjoy the food with the weather. The portions are a good size and come at a fair price. I did enjoy the Pad Thai here, but it was not as good as some of the other places I have had. I was slightly disappointed with the red curry dish I had because the spices overwhelmed what I wanted to taste the most…. The coconut red curry. The Singaporean curry noodles was rather bland to my taste. My coworkers seem to enjoy the crispy and sweet sesame chicken. Still… in the end we still come back here for the food… so they must be doing something right… right?

Well, my husband & I saw the mixed reviews here & on google and thought we would give it a try anyways. Since they don’t list the prices on this website, here they are: $10.95 for adults, $6.99 for children. They had ice cream, desserts, sushi, a big very variety of food. Unfortunately, the tastes of the food left something to be desired. The sushi tasted bland, the food was dried out. They had a variety of salads, they did not feel very cold. they had seafood salad but it was warm and I was afraid I would get food poisoning. Their ice cream is “iced milk” ice cream, which is a big difference is texture & taste. Their other desserts were bland and dry. Pros + decent prices, good parking, courteous staffCons – risky food, bland food, bad tasting,

Best Egg Rolls in town just like the ones I am used to in Chinatown in San Francisco. Crispy light and delicious not laden with fat.Delivery is great they always find me when other delivery folks just simply get lost and timely delivery too!Portions are huge and my daughter loves the little cinnamon donuts you get with your dinner upgrade. Sweet treat to boot. The fare is just above the standard here in Austin but I admit I am a Chinese food snob being from San Francisco I have to say I am just a little biased seeing as SF has the highest concentration of Chinese outside of Mainland China so I deal with it … but I do always keep their menu in my drawer. As for the location and ambience… well folks there is not much there just a counter and 4 stools a TV turned into News over a Old Coke Fridge. Very Low budget and overhead that’s why you only have delivery but it’s close enough to my house that I do pick up and get the food by the time I get there so it’s a plus. I call pick

This is really good Chinese food. I find that the staff doesn’t smile much, but it doesn’t bother me while I taste some of the best Sesame Chicken in Austin. It’s a good third date place because it’s relatively close to everything.
