Where is the Best Eastside Hotel in Seattle, Washington?

When taking in the overall effect, the Hilton is a visually appealing hotel. Glass elevator looks out to lobby from all but top floor. Lots of glass and natural light. Security and electronics had issues as exterior side doors did not open with room key and in one case caused the room key to stop working. While exploring the hotel we entered the secured VIP floor without using room key card despite a sign in the elevator indicating it was required. Had to power cycle the TV to get it to show a picture. Outdoor Jacuzzi was nice but hotel employees turned it off at 10 pm “closing time” while we were in it and instructed us to leave. Had to request new bedding for one of the queen beds as it did not appear to be clean. A good hotel experience with a lot of little nuisances.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and lobby were clean, stylish and unworn. The elevators were plentiful and fast. I really liked the area and being able to get to the new shopping complex and restaurants across the street by way of the overhead walkway. It was nice having the big flat screen TV. That I could see without my glasses. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Room: C Hotel: B+ Staff: B+ Food: A Setting: B+ Overall: B The Willows Lodge is a terrific property in an unassuming valley just east of Seattle. There are wineries (with outdoor concerts; we saw Lyle Lovett and kd lang at Chateau Ste. Michelle one night), a brewery, small shops, a paved trail along a river, and even a Saturday…
