I had heard that this place was snooty and condescending. I came prepared to be especially polite because I have a precious leather jacket that needed repair. The lead woman (sorry, don’t know her name), made me feel like an idiot anyway. When I inquired what they had done to repair the hole in my jacket, she replied “I already told you what we were going to do. We glued a patch inside. You cannot see it.” I said yes, I can see the repair. If glue was used, is it possible it could lift? She looked at me like I was stupid and said “No, it is leather glue. It will not lift.” Like we are all supposed to know how leather glue works? And when paying $60 for a small patch, we are not entitled to questions?I don’t think my questions were out of line. I wonder if this woman is as wealthy as her clients or just tries to pretend that she is. I am offended.Pros + Good cleaning for wedding dresses, etc.Cons – Be prepared to feel like you are low class

I used to justify spending WAY too much on drycleaning here because the results were impeccable. After my last trip, I’m never going back. I could have gotten pretty much the same result running my suit in the dryer with a Dryel sheet. Nothing I took was stained, I was taking the clothes in for freshening/to get rid of persperation. How incompetent does a dry cleaner have to be to fail at that? On top of that, the new staff has ‘tude. My card wouldn’t run b/c the strip is wearing down, and the cashier refused to manually enter the card number into the machine, ’cause I guess punching in 16 numbers isn’t part of her job description. Unforgivable for a place this pricy.Pros + none anymoreCons – expensive, unpleasant, incompetent
