Where is the Best Dive Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina?
The Breakfast Club was a lot smaller than I expected. Was very disappointed at first. There werent a lot of people there. Things got better after we were there for about 30 minutes. They started playing better songs and the dancefloor started filling up. This is the kind of place to bring your own group of friends. Small dance floor. The crowd seemed to be early 30s (most of us were in our 20s) but we had a lot of fun anyway! Loved rocking out to that 80s rock! Feel free to ‘dress 80s’ or to not dress 80s, you wont be out of place either way! Not a lot of overly drunk people, that was a plus! Safe place for a girls night out. Oh, and I had no problem getting them to play songs. I dont know the DJ…he was actually pretty good tho!
Good little hole in the wall place located between Tryon and Church Streets uptown, in the Latta Arcade. Once you find this place its definitely a good spot to grab a quick bite to eat and also a good place to get drinks as an early starting point or a night cap. Usually gets pretty busy, but always a good time, they are opening up a new part so there should be more space shortly which will be nice. Have gone here quite a bit and never had any problems and always good service, Flint is a good guy all around.
