Where is the Best Dive Bar in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Food is good here, reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. There are tv’s located throughout the restaurant but it’s hard to see more than 3 from wherever you’re sitting without really straining your neck. Not a place that I’d want to stay the entire night, but a good place to have dinner and begin the evening. If you like Buffalo sports, then this is place for you.
So if you want to go for really fancy thai food this is the place. Imagine impeccable service great gourmet food read small serving unique thai food not your usual pad thai and new spoons for every dish haha. yeah this place is super duper fancy So be prepared to drop over 200 bucks for a meal for two people. P
Dixie’s is a good college type bar for those looking for a release on a Friday night. Expect to hear the same music if you come more than once as the DJ apparently has a limited cd book or has yet to discover Napster or an IPod. Still if hearing 50 cent following Song of the South and OAR this is your cup of tea; Dixie’s is your place. Beer prices are not horrible ($2 Bud Select $2 Miller Lites depending on the night) however beware of the shot trap as you can run up a pretty quick bill doing so. Good atmosphere overall, relaxed and there are booths and a decent patio to hang out on if inside gets to crowded.
