Where is the Best Dessert in Santa Cruz, California?
I humbly disagree with the review from redbobsled. It’s like we’re talking about 2 different restaurants! I’ve eaten at the Crepe Place 3 times the past 12 months, and each time, the food was GREAT! Variety, quality & taste — they’ve got it! How can anyone call it bland?I’ve also never had poor service. One of the 3 times the sevice was ok; the other 2 times it was very fast!! And always friendly & helpful w/ recommendations. The turkey crepe w/ veggies, herbs & cheese is my favorite. Be sure to try the wild dessert crepes too! I also really like the patio seating: there’s a good variety of sunny/shady spots, pretty plants and a fountain.Downside 1: the Crepe Place costs a little more than average, but I don’t go often, so it’s worth the splurge! Downside 2: parking’s weird (can’t park in lot behind restaurant?!)Pros + Unique crepes, Helpful servers, Lots of patio seatingCons – Not ‘inexpensive’, Hard to find parking
