Where is the Best Dessert in Barnstable Town, Massachusetts?
What a great way to help cool down while visiting Cape Cod. Sundae School will often have a line out the door but TRUST ME it is sooooo well worth it. They make their own whipped cream on site. I believe they also make their own ice cream but don’t hold me to it. They top off your sundae with a real cherry…not the fake stuff out of the jar. Just be careful not to swallow the seed. There are tables inside set up like the old school soda fountain store with the decor to match. Outside there are shaded picnic tables. When you drive into the white stoned driveway, you are greeted by the old fashioned ice cream truck. No trip is complete unless you top it off with Sundae School!

We’ve been to this restaurant several times, and it never disappoints. On our most recent visit, the smoked duck and cranberry ravioli (appetizer or entree) was superb, as was the vegetarian moussaka (a signature dish).
