Where is the Best Day Spa in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania?
I came here with a gift certificate and wound up spending more than than I would pay for an entire massage here. Their prices are inappropriately high. For clarification, the certificate was for one half-hour massage and I had to pay a lot extra for the hour massage I received. The prices were increased plus tip= entirely too much. They brought me up to the room 45 minutes after my appointment was set for. The waiting area was decorated with large comfortable chairs where you have to encounter other people also waiting past their set appointment times. I went upstairs and settled into the extremely comfortably-padded and heated table inside a lovely, cozy, warm room and was massaged by a lovely lady. I asked for a deep-tissue massage and received a soft massage, more like a swedish with a few extra presses into some muscles. Yes, I was disappointed. And there is nothing worse than being disappointed with a massage that you pay good money for. Am I right? In conclusion, don’t
Eva, the owner of the spa gives an amazing facial, and offers the best in home remedy and home treatment advice while treating you – at no extra cost! My experience with Eva and the other estheticians has always been amazing and I continue to go back. If you sign up for email updates you can even get great insight on their almost weekly specials and receive coupons as well. My only con is with the helpfulness of the front desk staff and their customer service, which I will say has improved over the last 6 months. Pros + Pampered feeling no matter what you are there forCons – Front Desk customer service
I received a gift that included 1 hour massage as well as a 1 hour facial. When I arrived I I was advised to change into a robe which they provided. I then sat in a room with 4 other women and waited for my name to be called. No one guided me through what I was to expect. They provided cookies, water, tea and cake. I was called and walked up the stair of creepy old house to then get ready for my massage. The massage therapist began my massage at 4:08 and was done at 4:38. What happened to the hour long massage??? I waited in the dark room for about 15 minutes until I was then greeted by the woman who was doing my facial. The staff was very friendly. The massage was just the woman putting some oil substance on and very gently waving her hands over me. Barely a massage. Very dissapointed. The woman who did my facial took long breaks in between things. i was with her for about 40 minutes, But with many boring breaks in between. I walked downstairs to check out only to be harrassed by st
