Where is the Best Day Spa in Nashville, Tennessee?
I ran across an advertisement for a coupon for Essence while writing a resturant review. Bargan shopper that I am, I never turn down a deal. I’d been there before some years ago and enjoyed my treatment and wondered if everything was still the same. It was even better this time! The staff is soooo wonderful. They have a very “familiar” appeal. The owner is so warm and welcoming with her signature, “You’re so cute!” statement. I’ve been to other spa’s and had the works (as I did this time) and have yet to receive the warm feeling I get when I’m at Essence like, “I want you around.” Everywhere else I’ve been–including big places like Dillards–always feels so cold. I can’t say more about the staff. The service is so great. My facial was very informative and my massage was very relaxing. I even made some friends in the meditation room. I’ll definately be back many times.Pros + The staff, the ambiance, the owner is usually thereCons – the parking, unless I missed some
I took my elderly mother to Bodyworks Emporium for a partial day spa package a few months ago. She’d never been to a spa before (I’ve been to a ton) but she was extremely nervous. From the moment we walked in the door she started to immediately relax. The lady at the front that greeted us was so caring and kind and we were just getting started. The therapists that took care of us genuinely cared about how we felt throughout our treatments and afterwards. It didn’t just feel like we were being pampered, my mother and I both agreed, it felt like we’d been given true physical therapy is every sense of the word! We enjoyed lunch by candlelight in the “mind spa” in between our services and it was great. We plan to go back every year for a mom and daughter day, but my mother has been going back every 3 weeks for massage and reflexology and has seen her blood pressure drop and she has more energy than I’ve seen in years! I’ve never written on this site before, but seeing how much this place h
I would definitely use Elysium as your spa for a day of relaxation. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly receptionist. Not five minutes later I started on my spa experience. Everything was wonderful from the massage to the facial to the spa manicure and pedicure. I was totally relaxed by the time I left. The parking was also very accessible. You should try a day at Elysium.Pros + Relaxing environment, good parking, friendly staffCons – more treatment rooms
I’ve have traveled to spas all over the country and never encountered a more friendly and accomodating group of spa proffesionals. Everyone treated me like I was their most important guest from the time I made the reservation to the time I got in my car and drove off. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the service providers were knowledgeble and experienced in their respective fields. I would highly recommend Relache to anyone who wants to escape to spa paradise.Pros + Relaxation Lounge, Steam and Sauna, Fruit Infused WatersCons – None
First of all I have had many spa services over the years and Athena Health Club and Day Spa in Brentwood ,TN more than met my expectations. I went several months ago. It is one of the few where you can be scheduled on Sundays and Mondays and early evenings, besides the regular Tuesday -Saturday hours. The spa is open to males and females but I believe the gym(which is state of the art) and pool area are women only, which is a big plus for me. It is nice because you can also order food in advance, which makes for a very pleasant day especially if you come with a group like I have done. The service providers are very nice and professional. I have had massages with Joni and facials with the woman that works on Sundays ,I think her name is Cindy, she even gave me a courtesy hand and foot service they offer. The experience was very relaxing and nuturing. The spa providers I have had seem to be very knowledgeable about massage and skin care. I have referred some friends from out o
