Where is the Best Day Spa in Denver, Colorado?
I couldn’t be more excited about my new hair stylist Jaime. She’s very professional, friendly and fun. I look forward to getting my hair done again! She is creative, and highly experienced, I’m not picky with my hair but my last stylist always made me feel like I was putting him out, became very unprofessional to the point that I had to find a new one. Jaime was a breath of fresh air, she listened to what I wanted, gives realisitic advice on color/maintenance and gives great styling tips. While Jaime was doing my hair, Ann was also there visiting with us, it was my first visit and talking with both Jaime and Ann was a kick, they were funny and made me feel like I was hanging out with my girlfreinds, I really enjoyed it! The Salon (Lisa Ann’s) is a very cozy little Victorian house that makes you feel comfortable, there are other pampering services (facials, mani/pedi waxing etc.) available for one stop shopping if you are interested in treating yourself. I saw the deal for the $99 massage and facial.. so I had to check it out. The atmosphere is cozy lots of brick and greenery. I had the massage first with I think her name was Nicole. She did a good job, I like a stronger massage and she really got in there using forearms, elbows and concentrating on my problem neck area. Then I went to the facial and my skin looked great after, my only issue with the facial was the upsell during my facial for the microdermabrasion. I actually have very good skin and get facials fairly regularly and use really good products at home. No aesthetician has ever suggested this to me. I don’t mind her trying to make money, but i wish she had not done it in the middle of my facial, it made me uncomfortable. I will definitely go back for another massage.
I called and scheduled a same day appointment for their signature facial and swedish massage. On their website they have an ad that offers 10% off same day appts. but I didn’t recieve mine and didn’t realize it until I got home. However, I was late for my appt. so maybe the discount doesn’t apply in that situation. That being said, the massage was one of the best I have ever experienced. My therapist Holly was very knowledgable and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about her. My facial was so relaxing that I think I actually fell asleep for a little while. I do regret not being able to enjoy their quiet room for a little longer and I’m bummed that I didn’t recieve my complimentary glass of wine but again, thats due to my tardiness and not to lack of customer service. The front desk was actually very nice and accomodating and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all for being late.
