Where is the Best Day Spa in Austin, Texas?

I had bought a gift certificate for a friend visiting me in Austin–and she was amazingly impressed with Halina’s Spa (it is hard to please her being the “citytype” and her used to the upscale spas the Northeast has). She said that even though it was not overwhelming huge or overly flashy as some spas are today, the environment was perfectly elegant in its own way. What she really ranted on about was the facial (very detailed and not painful as what she is used to) and the massage (she was astonished with how experienced the young lady was–very talented with getting the knots out). She’s coming back into town once I deliver my baby–and I (and obviously her) look very forward to a day relaxing at Halina’s!

First, the little person with the screen name ‘ga8625’ has posted an incredibly viscious, personal attack against Bryan Lepley in this review section. I can only assume that this ***** (and I assume a woman) has a personal vendetta against Bryan. Maybe he didn’t drool over her tush because he has a beautiful wife. Maybe he didn’t drool over her BMW (go figger). She apparently has the same level of self-motivation as Bill Clinton going to marrage counseling. Bryan doesn’t drool…he sweats, and he motivates me to sweat and work MY tush off, as I train twice a week with him in his spinning classes. Obviously the overall tone of her posting illustrates a destructive rather than constructive ethos on life. OK, so a thin skinned (proof in the towel comment!), viscious little girl whose comments should be regarded as such. As to Body Business (Davenport), I have belonged to probably 10 different gyms in 5 different cities in my life, and this place is by far the cleanest and best maintai

Overall a nice facility. A good distance from Austin but great view of the lake. Hotel/Condominium. Restaurant on site was ok, pool and pool bar were closed during our visit. Very few restaurants near hotel, and most have very limited hours. The hotel and community seem more appropriate for an older, less demanding clientele. I would recommend this hotel to…

I have been going to Spa at the Lake for three years. Denise cuts and colors my hair and she is tremendously talented and gives you what you want. People are constantly asking me where I get my haircut. Everyone that I have referred to her loves her. As far as the other services, they are wonderful. Massage and body scrubs are amazing, facials are great and manicures and pedicures, the best. Melissa, the owner, could not be nicer and the atmosphere is calm and serene. I start to relax the minute I walk in the door.My husband gave me a gift certificate for a day at the Spa when I first arrived in Texas and it was a great way to start my life here!

They are also very flexibel with scheduling, great customer service!! They also reward you for referring and being a loyal customer. So make sure you go there and get pampered!Pros + Ms Pam!!Cons – none
