Where is the Best Date Spot in Salt Lake City, Utah?
One of the most fantastic meals we have ever had. The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. We were personally greated by the owner and chef as we entered and we were blown away by the entire expierence. All 4 of us had something different, yet we all were very impressed with our meals. We are NYC residents and have a mulitude of fantastic restaurants in our backyard. We are certainly tough critics. Chez Betty compares to any of the world renown NYC restuarants. I have been to the melting-pot three times over the past two years. The reason it has only been three times is because of the price. Do not misunderstand me, I am not saying they are over-priced, merely out of my budget.On my first visit I didn’t know what to expect, I was surprised at the prices, but we stayed because I was not about to embarass myself in front of my girlfriend. We were both pleased with the service, the servers were friendly and attentive. There is somewhat of a lag on drink service, but I think this is due to the large amount of time the server spends at each table. Every time your server is there they seem to spend about five minutes with you. There is plenty of time to relax and enjoy each others company in private. Yes you are in public but the entire time i was there I saw maybe 3 people other than staff, on what appeared to be a busy night. my Personal experience was great fast seating friendly service…… I thought the portions were perfect but thats because I don’t visit all you can eat buffets’ . If your looking for a ROMANTIC quiet place for a special occassion this is it ………..the only thing I didn’t like was yes there was no place mats and I believe they could’ve really done something out of the ordinary with some the have the potentual to play around with that so that much I’ll agree!!Pros + The place to Impress …….
