Where is the Best Date Spot in Norfolk, Nebraska?
I don’t really know why I’m here… Oh yeah. I was looking up “Azalea Inn” to hopefully write to them lamenting the $40 tab (with tip) I just got for a simple pizza and (1) pitcher of domestic beer…..and then I find these unfair reviews of Cogan’s. …In my opinion, Cogan’s is the best. Great (reasonably priced) beers. Very solid, if not EXCEPTIONAL pizza, and their Sunday, and Monday specials. …. I really don’t know what kind of pretentious hole some of these others reviewers crawled out of. ~GPros + What can I say? It’s COGAN’S!!!Cons – Sure it’s kinda a dive. It’s SUPPOSED to be.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant several times, mostly by ourselves, but once with a large family group. We have left every time feeling our money was well spent. One reviewer complained about food being mircowaved. We’ve never seen any evidence of this. The only quibble would be to add a $ to the price range. Most entries at night seem to be in the $14-$25 range.
A native New Yorker and restaurant owner, I was rather impressed with the atmosphere, drink selection and crowd at Club Soda and considered myself a regular there. I was appalled with the service, though, and now refuse to patronize the establishment. A friend of mine ordered a Red Bull w/ Vodka and recieved the following response “7-Eleven is down the street…We don’t serve that stuff here.” What kind of elitist response is that? Who did this bartender think he was? Is a Red Bull and Vodka not up to the high class standards of this upscale Norfolk martini bar? Give me a break. If you don’t serve the drink, fine. Just say so. Do not belittle the guests. That’s bad business. You probably think that my friend probably didn’t belong in a place like this, but he is owns a golf course. He is no stranger to up-scale.
Wonderful service and high quality dining. We had a hard time finding it because the address on this website is old. The new location is directly across from Nauticus. They have Valet services available, but there is also public garage parking in the immediate area.Pros + Excellent Service, great foodCons – Don’t believe the location on this website.
