Where is the Best Date Spot in Cleveland, Ohio?
I went here for the first time the other night. Not only was the food amazing but the bar was one of the most spacious and fun places to sit in the restaraunt. Not only did i get some great appetizers but i also got to enjoy the live music with front row seats! The bar staff let me know about some of the great happy hou changes they are making in the near future…i for sure will be attending!! p.s…. take your parking ticket in from the garage above…they will validate it for you and you get a huge discount!!Pros + Music, Food, Location, and staff!!!Cons – NONE!!!!
Why do they call this a leather bar? The crowd is made of two types: old men and young buff guys who pose as leathermen. Few if any genuine leather daddies here, unless it is a special leather club night. Sundays in the Summer, the place is crowded to overflow, but most customers are too tanned and too smooth to be authentic leather aficionados. Typical stand and model guys. Years ago, this was a real leather bar. As the years have passed, the leather scene in Cleveland has largely dried up. Younger guys think the Stallion is cool, because they don’t know what it was like earlier. Some old queens still boast about the place because they are trying to relive their heyday. Best advice is skip, unless you want to stand around and be ignored, or else duck into the men’s room with an old troll.Pros + crowded on summer sundaysCons – unsafe neighborhood
London, Venice, Paris. This is where you would have to go to find anything like the Tango Room. The first time you walk in you feel transported back in time. A time where gentelman did not need to be reminded to remove their hats upon entering a room. Where tuxedos and long black gloves don’t look the least bit out of place. And where you can order a Rob Roy, Sidecar, Ramos Gin Fiz, or Lady in Red and not have the bartender stare at you with a blank look and ask you if there is any RedBull in that. Every drink is made from scratch. If you order a sour you get egg white, fresh squeezed juice and it is shaken until it is blended to perfection. Would you wait 5 minutes for a drink anywhere else? At the Tango Room the art of blending a drink perfectly is a show in itself. The first time you visit sit at the bar and just watch the bartenders work. It is as fascinating as wathching an artist create a painting out of a blank canvas. The lights stay low, the conversation is private
