Where is the Best Dance Club in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
not to be on the rude side but when you run up a huge tab in comparisson to the other patrons of this place and you tip big. you dont even get a thank you. the wait staff even tries to defend the other staff by saying you are wrong. they must have done it. I was there with several friends and they all agreed that it was quite rude. The wild onion had staff that accuses people of being something they are not. The barttenders before the night crew were much more courteous and friendly. I will first mention an old friend that had major problems getting into the place, he has bad knee problemsand does not walk easlily, he would be accused of being “too drunk” at the door or they would say he “wouldnt fit in anyway” and was refused entranceIn my own experience, me and my boyfriend used to go there every weekend yet it got pathetic, a lot of times they would wait till you had ordered your first drink and come along and kick you out saying you were too drunk, all in 15 minutes time after entering.Most of the other times they would wait till my BF would goto the bathroom wihtout me and come along and make me leave the bar without him knowing where I had gone too.The last time they did this I got somewhat upset and said to the bouncer what he deserved to hear outside of the place on the sidewalk, he jumped me and then about 3 other bouncers joined in, they were kicking me in the side, one of them had his knees on my face and I lost my 1 contact lens even.All of
I have fun at the lounge. They have 3 rooms with different music in each which is nice because it’s kind of like bar hopping without going outside. I have always found the staff to be friendly and I enjoy the fact that most of the people who are there are not the drunken college students doing 21 shots on their birthday type. The only negative aspect is that a number of times I have been there and it was really dead. With three separate rooms, they really need to pack the place to make it feel full and sometimes the attendance is just pitiful. I had fun regardless but, would have enjoyed it more if I didn’t have that sad “I threw a party and no one showed up” feel. Also, I went on one night when they advertised having belly dancers. I belly dance myself so I thought this would be really cool. However, it ended up being your standard gogo dancers wearing their bras and some kind of long fabric skirt thingy– not even a proper belly dance costume let alone dance! Seriously, thes
Been here several times, including my bachelorette party and that of a good friend. Guys there are very willing to partake in the festivities (both of us got guys to give us their boxers– it was actually pretty gross)!! However, it’s almost always WAY crowded, you can’t move on the dance floor, the bouncers are rude (as many are, I’ve learned), expensive cover and long lines for drinks. But, there is a good variety of music (top 40 as well as 80’s), and people are usually very drunk and entertaining.Pros + Good Music, Dance FloorCons – Expensive, Meat Market, REALLY crowded
