Where is the Best Dance Club in Dallas, Texas?
Wow, I went there for lunch and had the best reuben sandwinch I have had in a looonnng time! the food was great. I came alone so I sat at the bar and the people there were like a cheers. Very friendly and chatty. When I left I felt sastisfied from my lunch , service and the company. It’s a great place,I haven’t been there for the bands, but I can say you should really try their food!Pros + Great value, great pastrami, nice crowdCons – parking… you CAN go to the davis bldg for a dollar across the street ( not bad eh?)
Been to a lot of clubs/lounges throughout the country, I have seen snazzier, bigger places, but the atmosphere at candleroom is awesome. Not because of the place , but because of the people. (This is why a place stays in business over 1.5 years) The door guy Ali, is polite and courteous, not a muscle bound power hungary maniac. he is pretty fair in letting people on a first come basis regrdless of race or gender (unlike some places i know), sure the members get VIP service , but thats business, if you do not understand that, stay home and continue to watch reruns of “Freinds” Tommy D and Sean run a great place with a friendly staff. The only drawback is that i think it way too crowded on Saturday night, I say hold the line to let the folks enjoy themselves inside, or word of advise come early and avoid the lines. Prices are standard, DJ plays a mixture from top 40 , to classics, to songs everyone sings too. Good scene..an occasional celebrity or two on Wednsday/Saturday night. A
Seattle to Boston. LA to Miami been there and partied hard. Lizard Lounge has a special place in my heart. The Lights, the sound system and the DJ’s OMG…GLOBAL. Fridays and Saturdays is the techno, house, trance party with either very good local dj’s or mind blowing global DJ’s. Sundays is The Church and trust me everyone is welcome and the crown knows how to have a good time way into the weee early hours. The club looks like a gutted 1920’s theater and the dance floor is the orchestra pit and stage. The second floor overlooks the main dance floor for some amazing views and instead of a smoke machine it’s bubbles. The club has plenty of chill areas and high energy dance space and spills out into the parking lot when they host massive events.
