An excellent Cuban restaurant with a wide selection of Cuban cuisines and drinks. My personal favorite is their skirt steak (Churrasco Con Salsa Chimichurri). The steak is great served medium rare……

Havana Central is a cool place to have some good Cuban food. This is a nice impressive place for a hang out. The food is never disappointing. The live band is an added bonus. The place is a little loud, between the guest talking and the band, nothing unusual for any restaurant think they may have bad acoustics. The wait wasn’t too bad, went around 7pm. The wait staff seems very busy and can tend to ignore you but pleasant at the same time. The bathroom service is annoying, good for the restaurant and the chic taking tips but I hate the obligation of paying cause I need to use the potty. Ignoring that ,did I mention the food is awesome. Pros + Great tasting foodCons – Loud and busy staff

We have been dining at many restaurants over the years and I friend of mine suggested Cafecito. It is a very cuaint and romantic spot. Ceviche to die for! We were even greeted by the owner towards the end of the evening. The service was just right, and the food was delicious. What a find! I have no problem recommending it for your a great evening!Pros + Cuban Food, Ambiance, ServiceCons – None

Ive been desperate to find a cool place that plays fun latin music, there are so many in DC and its something that so far , Ive found NYC is missing, well I have to say I went in this place, it was lacking, the music was great but there were way too many ppl that have no clue how to dance, and I couldn’t find one guy that I thought was attractive.. At once point a guy came up to me and started dancing in my face.. it was very cheesy and I almost felt like I was in a SNL skit for night at the roxbury.. Its really a shame… this place is nicely decorated and i like me the music, but the crowd is awful… Its probably just the typical NYC thing where after a year or two a club goes out of style just like the latest fashion trend… doesnt really happen in other cities…oh well.. if anyone has a better place to go for salsa/reggaeton/latin music with a more attractive crowd, please let me know 🙂

Went to dinner here (4 in our group), and was seated at the bar area, which we didn’t mind. Thank goodness we were! They have great HH deals where if you buy one drink or tapas, you get one free (they have a menu you can buy off of). Otherwise, a small tapas costs like $10-15, which is fine if you’re in an upscale tapas bar, but not if you’re in the village. Also, I’m a big ambience- girl (like to pick restaurants depending on what ambience I want) and this place was very “let’s get a big group together for a casual night out”, which also doesn’t warrant the price. Food was average. as in there were some dishes that were really good and some dishes that weren’t. I’d go back for only for HH; full-priced dinner menu is not worth it.Pros + Great HH dealsCons – Price (if not HH), dingy venue
