Where is the Best Cuban Food in Atlanta, Georgia?
I went to Papi’s with my family and was not dissapointed. My husband and I ordered the Cuban Sandwich which was to die for. Papa Relleno, tostones and platanos maduro. Let’s just say that it was way too much food with a great price. The kids ordered chicken tenders and Little Rey sandwiches. They ate every bite and I have never seen my children eat fries so quickly. We ended our meal by sharing coconut flan which was o.k. and a mango pie that was awsome. We heard of this place from a friend and made a special one hour trip to try it out. It was so good we will be back. The waitress was super friendly and we were surprised at how quickly our food arrived. The price was another welcome surprise. In this economy eating out is a luxory and this is one place that we were happy to spend the money.
A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery’s looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!
This is a great place for authentic Cuban that anyone would enjoy. It’s perfect either for an occasion or for a weekday meal out. They’re very tolerant of kids, but I frequently see couples there as well, so I wouldn’t characterize it as a “family” restaurant. I’m somewhat ambivalent about writing this review because it’s a best-kept secret and I’ll hate having to fight for a table once the rest of Atlanta discovers this place!Pros + great food, friendly, DESSERTS!Cons – serv. sometimes slow, in a strip mall
Ok Atlanta, are you ready? Havana has found a new home. We will be located at 3373 Buford Hwy, 1/2 mile north on Buford Hwy at the entrance of Northeast Plaza Shopping Center. Our projected opening date is January 1st!! The new location has plenty of… seating, and more importantly plenty of parking! With the extra space we have aquired, we have decided to add something special to the Havana experience. Friday and Saturday nights we will have a live Salsa band performing for our customers. We are looking forward to serving all of you very soon.
