Where is the Best Conversation Bar in Atlanta, Georgia?
Manuel’s Tavern has been an ATLANTA tradition for so many years you cannot count them. The Burgers are exceptional and the Political Insight is intriguing. Most of the Intown Politicos are THERE! We don’t get to Manuel’s Tavern very often but any time we can schedule a visit, we do. The tradition and the “old Atlanta” feelings are incredible. Try Manuel’s Tavern just once and you will get a feel of what makes Atlanta politics work. Insight to what makes ATLANTA the GREAT CITY that it is.. GREAT BAR and meeting place.Pros + GREAT ATMOSPHERE…. More than just a BAR!
We have to call Fado’s an establishment, because it is much more than just an another Irish Pub. It has became one of the mainstay’s in the changing Buckhead Village. Singles are welcomed, families with children, or just anyone wanting a warm feeling of Ireland. All the best Irish/British Ales are on tap, as well as terrific bottle selection. Have a black/white ale. And then order the best Fish ‘N Chips, you will ever put in your mouth. The Irish Stew, is something to write home about also. Drop in for a unique Sunday Brunch. The rumor is, a second location is coming to Atlantic Station. We are waiting, until then, on to the Buckhead Village. Service is tops.Pros + Atlanta’s Top Irish Establishment! Irish Stew! Right-On Service!Cons – Parking Can Be Tight!
I work near the Globe and have been wanting to try having dinner there. So my wife and I went Friday night. The atmosphere is nice and the service we received was very good and relaxed. The overall experience was enjoyable…but the food was disappointing. For the price the food just didn’t measure up. If the prices were 1/2 then it would have been just OK. Oh and a glass of wine was $10 or more. I wanted to listen to the live jazz featured on Friday nights but the band was playing outside…where it was really hot. So we decided to sit inside where it was nice and cool instead. So I didn’t get to hear the band which would have made up for the poor quality and over priced food. I should give an example of the food issue…we both ordered summer salads…which were very well presented and included edamame, asparagus, tomatoes and cheese on top of a piece of bread. It looked really good. Only the bread was so hard…really hard…we couldn’t cut it with our knife. I just picked mine up a
I went there for brunch two weeks ago and it was fabulous – huge buffet with yummy, fresh food (both cold and hot options) and attentive chef service. One of the best brunches in Atlanta by far for the food. However, service was definitely mediocre and our brunch took twice as long because the waitress was not attentive. The wait was a big surprise as she only had to serve us drinks, and for much of the time we were her only table. So go if you have time to spare!Pros + Great food, nice space & locationCons – Bad service
