The location was very convenient and included a free shuttle bus. I wouldn’t normally expect their rates to be in my price range so I don’t usually consider them when booking a hotel. After this stay I would consider staying at a Hyatt hotel since the rate was affordable and the room and service was what I would expect from the Hyatt name, but well above what I would expect from the hotels I usually use. This hotel made me feel extravagent: The room and amenities seemed more lavish and complete than I would have expected even from a Hyatt. Great historical hotel close to metro to get to all attractions. Save yourself some cash and park it yourself for $20 a day in same garage hotel valet will park it for $35 a day. Stayed toward front of hotel looking out towards Connecticut Ave (great view). Concierge was great for dinner and tour reservations. Room was very nice. Metro station is less than 100 yards from entrance of mayflower. This was a great way to get to all attractions fast.
