Where is the Best Comfy Hotel Bed in San Francisco, California?

The hotel is in a great location! Our room was very quiet; it did not face Geary Street. Room was spacious, nice, and comfortable with a huge bathroom. However the room had a slight musty smell, and the carpet needed to be replaced. If you plan to shop while in San Francisco this is definately the area to stay in. Hotel is also near to cable car, subway, and street cars. We would stay at The Handlery again.

Extremely enjoyable stay at the Sofitel San Francisco; my husband couldn’t get over how quiet and relaxing the room was. The patio/pool area overlooking the “lagoon” was gorgeous and, for a modern hotel, the public areas (lobby, bar, restaurant) were arranged for gathering and conversation. Yes, there are hotels closer to the city (and the airport), but we didn’t mind the extra few minutes; be warned, if you leave the hotel in the morning you need to watch for geese and ducks along the roadside and crossing to the median! …

The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds were really comfortable. The sun deck was perfect for enjoying breakfast and reading the newspaper. The Bliss Spa as expected was also a wonderful treat. As a hotel guest I received 20% off their products. However, you might try to book your apointment early as I had to get on the wait list and was only able to be squeezed in for a 30 minute massage. The lounge was very contemporary and popular. Saturday night was packed! Drinks are a little pricey but to be expected. Overall the experience was great! However, parking is a huge downfall. The hotel charges $49 a day to valet your car. You can park next door at the SF MOMA for $30 but you will not be able to come and go as you would like. Pros + Bliss SpaCons – Parking

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our last visit to SF in May. The bed is SO comfortable, and the bathroom is huge. I am a huge fan of contemporary design, and this hotel exudes modern elegance. The food price is on the higher end of the scale, but that is to be expected from a hotel such as this one. My husband loved the big LCD TV, and I enjoyed the city view from our floor-to-ceiling windows.
