Where is the Best Comfy Hotel Bed in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
This hotel is underwhelming given the alternatives in the nearby vicinity. Our company no doubt selected it because of a favorable conference deal, but the room itself was at a rate almost identical to several other hotels down the street that offer much newer facilities and better locations. On the plus side, the staff was reasonably helpful when trying to…
My husband and I returned last week and had a great dinner. The food is above average and they have a great wine menu as well as some choice single malt scotch selections. I do love the dark wood interior and linen clad tables. Do not come here if your sole purpose is to eat cheap. This is about dining and dining well. It’s a very civilized atmosphere and we appreciate that. There is easy parking across the street at the ramp near Kincaid’s. If you make it clear to your server that you will not be rushed they will honor that request. In fact, that is something I make clear in all restaurants and it is never a problem. Restaurants want their patrons to communicate their needs. We have also used them for business meetings and executive sessions and they have been more than accommodating. This place is a class act.Pros + This reminds me of the old school steak houses I grew up with, like Chasens.Cons – None
Pros: – Clean, newly renovated rooms – Superb location in downtown Minneapolis – Fun attractions with the waterpark and pool accommodations – Historical site and a lot of “character” to the hotel Cons: – Not a budget stay – Limited in-house restaurant menu selection – I had a corner room, so TV was a bit missplaced I would highly recommend…
My husband and I went to the Inn for dinner on Fri. night, the day after Valentine’s Day. I thought it was very beautiful, romantic, and cozy. My husband thought the steak he had was a little grisly, but my tenderloin was perfect. Also, the wedge salad was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and stay overnight next time!
