Truly unparalleled customer service. I can’t think of a place I’ve stayed with more personalized service, anywhere in the world. And such a fun place to stay! Free mini-bar and free movie dvds, a pool that is open 24 hrs, great help from the front desk staff if you are staying with kids, access to the private Magic Castle club, rooms with views beyond compare and space space space – many rooms include full kitchens and bedroom/front room arrangements with 2 tv’s. Did I mention the free treats and mini-bar snacks? Last but not least, again, the service: whatever you are doing in LA, the staff will give you detailed assistance if you are doing business in LA, just coming to enjoy the sun with the family, or are out to hit all the best restaurants or site-see. Be sure to ask for pool toys, too, if you’re going to take a dip! Pros + views of downtown LA, free mini bar, dvds

I enjoyed Raffles L’Ermitage and the beautiful rooms and suites, at the time, the largest in Beverly Hills. They deserve the Mobil 5 Star, which if you are a luxury traveler, everyone knows that AAA 5 diamonds are easy to obtain as Mobil is totally objective, unlike Conde Nast, whom have to please advertisers. The place is beautiful and the bathtub is great as is the staff, although somewhat cold. I felt that as I spent US$10,000 at that location, it would have been nice to receive a Christmas card as I received Bose Silent Headset from Wolf Hengst, retired President & COO of the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. For me, it is all about the subtle nuances. Overall I would highly and without reservation recommend Raffles L’Ermitage as they consitently receive 5 Mobil Stars unlike many properties that brag about their triple AA rating when they may only have a meager three Mobil stars.Pros + Raffles has some of the largest rooms ans suites in BHCons – No follow-up even for repeat

Overall, a pretty good hotel. It is what you would expect from a decent Marriott. We reserved a room with two beds, but were given a room with a King. We were offered a roll-away bed, which worked out fine… an acceptable compromise for our 2 year old child. The room service food quality was surprisingly good. Don’t pay $29/day for valet parking… park in the city lot across the street for $6/day. It is faster than waiting for the valet anyway. …
