Where is the Best College Bar in Dallas, Texas?
If you want a dive bar, this is it! The drinks are cheap if you go during happy hour. I would recommend the cheese fries (the best in town) and tacos. The service is not always the friendliest, but it’s a great place to catch a round of pool or darts, watch a game on the many TVs, and question the collected dust on the light fixtures…Pros + inexpensive, good bar food, pool tables, dartsCons – friendly service, dusty in places, bad parking
Went to this HUGE hole in the wall….had pretty good live bands outback and nice Music piped inside.. Bartender Kerry was a really cool guy to do shots with and how could I beat 2$ Pitchers next door… scene picked up kinda late and then the women came in…I’ll be back,.,, look for me I’ll buy you a pitcher.. Big Dave..Pros + Cheap, Cold beer, Feels GoodCons – Cover 5$
The Library is a great low key bar. My friends and I love to go there because there’s no cover and drinks are cheap. They have a juke box that plays great music and there’s pool tables and tv’s that play sports games. There’s not a dance floor, however my girls and I have no problem creating our own and people always join in! The crowd is young and well groomed. You never have to worry about the “dirty mexicans” or “gangsta thugs”. Its better to go with a group but as the night goes on you don’t have any problems making friends. Pros + cheap drinks, no cover, relaxed enviroment, chill peopleCons – gets very crowded
