Where is the Best Coffee in Nashville, Tennessee?
When we first walked in, there was an incredible ambiance that was very welcoming. All the employees were hustling and bustling around, a tribute to their great customer service, but you didn’t feel put-off in any way. The owner greeted us in a timely manner and made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. Upon receiving our order, we were delighted to see that the portion size was generous and nicely packaged. The coffee was out of this world. There were many intersting coffee choices. We decided on the “Aloha coffee cooler” which was an irresistible blend of coffee, kahlua and whipped topping. The food was very good and chosen wisely for a small coffeehouse. On this particular day I had the turkey stacker. The sandwich had delicious turkey and cheese with fresh 9-grain bread and a drop of chocolate to sweeten your palate. The only thing in the whole experience that I would consider a “con” would be the parking situation. Pros + customer service and ambianceC
DO NOT PARK IN THE PAY LOT next to Cafe Coco. We paid $5 to park there and got booted anyway. It happened to a couple of other cars that night, too. All of us paid. All of us got booted. All of us had to pay $50 to get the boot removed. I remember joking that we should have filmed ourselves putting money into the slot in case we got towed. Well, joke’s on us. I won’t park there again, but if you do, generate your own record for paying. It’s a racket. Don’t park anywhere where they don’t give you a receipt.Pros + great coffee and ambienceCons – the pay lot outside is run by criminals
The drinks are usually good even though there are a couple of employees who are lousy at the drinks. The food is usually really good but kinda pricey. The crowd is young and is mostly artsy types, musicians, and college students. I like it mostly because its a really cool place to hang out. There’s a lot of cool art hanging around on the walls and the tables are works of art in themselves. People are pretty friendly there and its even a decent place to meet other singles. I alos like to hang out on the front deck when the weather is warm. Its a cool place to hang with friends or to read a book, write some stuff, or whatever!!
