Where is the Best Coffee in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
All of the desserts here are delicious but the one that I must have everytime I’m in the neighborhood is the Vanilla Cheescake, its rich and creamy and topped with a sweet glazed jumbo strawberry! I’ve tried almost all assortments of pizzas, pastas, soups and lattes, its all “okay”, desserts are what keeps me coming back and prices are very affordable The only thing I hope they can improve on is the checkout, I wouldn’t exactly consider Caffe Latte a first time user-friendly place. After ordering your dessert on the pasta bar side, you have to wait for the people in front of you to go down that long pasta salad/soup bar (and most of them chit chat and think forever long about if they want something from the bar or not). Many friends that have gone in and said that the place is confusing because you don’t know where to start with placing your order. (this is also a seat yourself place) Also, don’t think about grabbing dessert and cutting the line to get straight to the register bec
Zeno sucks balls. Big, hairy, stanky balls. Food: well, at least it’s hot, and if you’re there to get your drank on, you’ll need sustenance. Atmosphere: spruced-up cafeteria with possibly the worst THE WORST music in town…seriously, Zeno, I promise you, no one wants to hear the new Matchbox 20 album all the way through one time, let alone twice. Service: servicable. The only reason I am not embarrassed to meet my friends at Zeno is there is no where else in town where we can drink FOR FOUR HOURS for $10. It’s that simple. Not even drinking at home is that cheap. And if Zeno were a place I’d actually want to go–a place with a real life to it, a personality–it would probably be overpriced. So they despoil one of the primest pieces of real estate in Minneapolis. At least they let us drink real real cheap. Pros + $10 gets you pretty drunkCons – everything else
Pandoras is the defacto gold standard for all twin cities coffee shops. Everyone has been there once, There is always an eclectic mix of some of the best people that the twincities have to offer, it gets busy and crowded of course. The coffee is excellent though, and the staff are friendly, they even made toast for my friend even though it wasn’t on the menu. AND Jeremy remembered me for it when I returned the next week. My favorite place in uptown and maybe in the twincities. Some how I run into a friend I haven’t seen for years every other time I go there.Pros + Best Bathroom, Friendly, eclecticCons – its not a secret
