Where is the Best Clam Chowder in Orange County, California?
I found this place thru citysearch and been there couple of times and highly recommend to others. Food is decent and great ambience. It seems more like a bar cause they got a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant but i guess it’s good for people watching and hang out. I highly recommend this place except for one waitress named Shawna, she doesn’t smile and not so friendly. Other than that, it’s all good.
All right, this is only the second Bubba Gump restaurant in which I have eaten [the other being at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN]. I was impressed by the staff in that they usually called me sir and not by a shortened form of my first name or by the ubiquitous moniker of “guy.” They were for the most part young and respectful. They were very attentive, especially with the “stop” sign on the table, which is quite ingenious, come to think of it. The food is great at wonderfully affordable prices. I loved the shrimp with pasta and capers. I asked for extra capers and they actually served me a true mound of capers! The drinks are strong and the beers are big.
