Where is the Best Clam Chowder in Boston, Massachusetts?

I went to Legal Seafood for the first time on a visit to Boston. My idea was to have some good fresh seafood near my hotel. The result was devastating. We ordered oysters and clams as appetizers and tuna and trout as main courses. To drink we had a nice Napa Sparkling Wine. The meal came down to this. We first received the main courses, then the oysters, and at last, when we were almost finish we had the wine… Then we get to pay at the table. Not only we had to input the tip but we even had to slide the credit card. Talk about fast food…. this is just to much.I wont go again even though the food was ok. Kumamoto oysters and raw tuna… how can you go wrong?

I’ve been going to Tommy D’s for almost two years now and its one of my favorite bars in the Square. Dress up or dress down, you can always feel at home there. I love that there is something at TD’s for whatever mood I’m in–I can go when I want to dance and drink and go to the top floor, or if I want a beer and some apps and good conversation with friends, there’s space on the main floor or the basement lounge where i can actually hear the people at the table I’m at. The bartenders on the top floor get special props for creative mixing (I never know what I want, and they will always make something special) and always being friendly, especially when the bar is a few people deep. I celebrated my birthday here as well and with great space and good prices, it was the best place to bring a large group of friends. There are lots of great bars in the Square but Tommy Doyle’s is the best of all worlds, balancing club and pub, food and drink, and being a place meeting new people or banki

Grill 23 is a great restaurant for a special occasion or a guys/girls night out. The meat is very good and the appetizers are quite niece too. If you don’t like steak, try the yellow-tail entree. This Sushi-grade dish is a fantastic alternative to red meat. There is an impressive wine list and some interesting cocktails to choose from. Or, if you want to keep it simple there are plenty of beers for about $5. All together this is a nice alternative to S&W or Davios if you are looking for a new steak house. However, on balance, we prefer Davios.Pros + Entrees and apps are greatCons – Sides are nothing to write about.
