Where is the Best Chinese Food in Charlotte, North Carolina?
I was introduced to this wonderful place by my ex-in laws. It was the best thing that they ever give me. Walking in this place is like walking in heaven. I would and have driven across country for this food. So to say that you have to be special for me to take you here well that goes without sayin. So if you want to know have important you have to be to be taken here by me. I suggest that you check it out for yourselve and then decide how important someone has to be for you to take them back with you. To bottom line for you if you like chinense food then go anyplace if love chinese food GO TO GREAT WALL OF CHINA…..you won’t regret it.
The previous comments regarding customer service are totally inconsistent with what I have observed over the last 7 plus years of getting food at Taipei Express. I imagine the others are mistaking cultural characteristics for poor service. The staff are generally Asian, and I imagine there are some language difficulties. So do not let that discourage you. In terms of selection, it is generally what you would expect from what is essentially a typical Chinese take-out place. But the food here is much better any other comparable place in Charlotte, including the ones consistently given good reviews in this and other publications. The chicken entrees feature less breading and more flavor than most. Orange chicken is very good. The place is always bustling during lunch hour. Very limited seating inside, so plan on to-go.Pros + Flavorful entrees. Fresh vegetables. Close enough to Uptown for lunch run.Cons – Limited seating
Buffet Dynasty is our family favorite! Even my 5-year-old loves it. The food is fresh and delicious, the offerings are varied and the price is right. Very friendly staff and uber-clean environment complete the experience. Make sure your try the Teriyaki Chicken (always tender, never tough) and the crisp, whole garlic green beans, yum! The sushi is surprisingly well executed and fresh tasting. Rare for a buffet. And hands down, the best dumplings in town! The salad bar is a nice idea also, with crisp marinated veggies, peel-and-eat shrimp and leafy greens. I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone! A+!Pros + Immediate seating, delicious food, great priceCons – none
