Great food! Especially the wings which come in various temperatures according to your taste. Lots of value for your dollar!My wife and I love the NTN boxes for testing your trivia knowledge. I’ve never had a problem catching a game there. The staff will always try to accomodate whatever game you may want. I’ve had them change the channel for me on more than one occasion. For being a pub, the food is really good . . . although certain items on the menu are outstanding. The crabcakes are better than I’ve had at several pricey seafood restaurants, and are the best thing on the menu. The steak nachos are also outstanding, although the amount of toppings will vary depending on the chef. Burgers are better than most other places in town. The vegetable platter is highly recommended. Their bartenders aren’t good for much beyond drafts and shooters, but they do have Guinness and Blue Moon on tap. Best bet for a dessert is the vanilla milkshake — but tell ’em to add a double shot of Sambuka white (unfortunately, on my last 2 visits the blender was broken . . . you’d figure they’d have replaced it within a month!).
This place was recommended to me by a bartender in another bar. It ended up being my favorite place to be in the summer!! Now they’ve moved a few blocks down the road. The atmosphere’s not quite the same since they don’t have their outdoor seating anymore, but it’s still a great fun place to go! The bartenders can flip bottles and do tricks, if you’re lucky. Their chicken fingers and broccoli cheeseballs are my favorite!! I always bring all my out of town friends here first.Pros + never empty
