Where is the Best Chill Scene in Hartford, Connecticut?
Was delighted to know there was a great hamburger place close so I surprised my husband by taking him there. The first visit was okay although getting the wait staff’s attention required getting up and going to the bar. The next 2 times we had the same problem with getting the attention of staff. The burger were never cooked as ordered, and my request for a slice of onion resulted in 2 rings of onion being placed on the burger. Personally I feel like we gave them 3 chances to get it right and they couldn’t manage it. We will not try again.Pros + not busy and no one in the resturant part around 5-6Cons – hard to get the attention of wait staff, food not cooked to order, interesting parking
I would like to warn the customers of the Brickyard Club, not to use your credit card at this venue. I am from Philadelphia and this was my first time at this location. The bartender criminally added a non-authorized amount onto my charge after I left. I am currently filing a formal complaint with the FTC. Even though it was a small amount, $10, I am sure this is not the first time this has happened, and this will not stop until someone does something about it.Pros + no prosCons – Please be aware for credit card fraud!!!!!!
Upon entering, The Hungry Tiger looks like your local pub. Nice atmosphere, many unique wall decorations including photos of many performers who have been there. The food was good. When the band began playing, it was a bit too loud for the size of the space. Be sure to bring your earplugs or the ringing will be unbearable the next day. That’s where the niceties stopped. Getting a drink was very hard. The waitress ignored our party for very long stretches. The head bartender (as told by a few patrons) was rude. When waiting for a drink, she spent a lot of time chtting with the regulars, completely ignoring others at the bar. Tough to miss people waiting for a drink since the bar is only about 14 feet long. When she would walk by and I tried to get her attention, she would rudely say things like, ‘if you don’t wait your turn, I won’t serve you ‘ or “Don’t call me, I will get to you when I am done with them(the regulars at the end of the bar)” and the proceed to go to them and chat for a
