Where is the Best Chill Scene in Charlotte, North Carolina?
The reason for my comments is because I am one of those coupon guys and I am glad that The Grape is putting those promotional gift certificates out there so I can visit more often. Guess what I am cheap and I will admit it. But to think I could come in and pay for my whole table of guests with promotional coupons I paid ? face value for is just plan tacky. That?s not point of promotional coupons, But then again I guess I was raised different. I just hope that a few don?t ruin it for the many and I hope that The Grape continues with those types of programs. Finally to end on a positive note I am glad to see that The Grape @ Northlake was nominated for so many different categories. It is truly great place to entertain and just simply relax. I stay at this particular Marriott frequently due to its proximity to our our business location. They’ve recently (within the last year) completed some renovations with good results. Went to Crush for the First Time. Never noticed it before, located off the beaten tracks. Parking was great no forced parking attendant so parking was free. Time spent in line was unnessesary and bit too long. $20 was kind of high but when you see the crowd inside you would appreciate the Price because it helped control the amount of broke brothers(I am African American SO this is not a meant as a negative remark) that would show up.Dj chats tooooooo Much. Bar service was above average, was told thank you each time I left a tip. All in all not a bad place to hang in Charlotte and experiance the Hip Hop Life style and see beautiful people. I read about Blue Restaurant and Bar in another Charlotte-based publication and decided to plan my best friend’s bachelorette dinner here. I called and arranged a time to come in and scope out the restaurant as well as try out some of the items on the menu. I was very impressed by the appetizers – which range from delicious scallops to equally yummy flavors of the Mediterranean. My husband and I also tried a few martinis and desserts on three different occasions. We were pleased with the selection and decided to book a reservation for our upcoming dinner party. Roughly a month prior to the event, I discussed the party details with two different staff members and was assured we would be allowed to sit in the Solarium room (their patio area). About two weeks before the event I called to confirm our reservation and was then told that another group (larger party) had also booked the same room that night, and that we (smaller party) would need to move to another area within the restaurant
