Where is the Best Chill Scene in Boston, Massachusetts?
First of all, it’s a VODKA place. Why yes Virginia it is basement downstairs (how observant!) but the extensive vodka selection is like a hidden treasure. The music is house and the people are dancers (people who really love music). It’s not a meat market, so stilettos & cigars stay upstairs please. If you want drama, meatmarket feel – go to Roxy. This place is for the laidback people, vodka lovers & b-boys. Strange that the two co-exist under the same roof. Ce’ la vie! Definitely coming back again!!!!!! Pretty nice decor, pretty cool place. The space has an interesting flow, so when its packed it seems to be a bigger than it is. There is no DJ, but every time I’ve been there the music has been good. The location is kind of awkward, but its a great place to go to a party if you want to go to News Cafe afterwards because they are walking distance to each other.
Had a buywithme gift certificate for $40 and went on a Monday night and sat in the lounge. The $40 covered 7 tapas, 2 drinks, a meal, and a dessert. Went with my best friend and it was the perfect amount of food. Great atmosphere, though completely dead, we were the only people in the lounge for the majority of the meal – seats were comfortable – on the less busy nights good for first dates. Less impressed with the bartender’s service – she was engaged in conversation and it took me approaching the bar to get water refilled, appetizers, and even dessert.Our main meal: Chicken Tikka Masala – absolutely awesome – the “medium” was not very spicy (so keep that in mind when ordering) but it was amazing – tasted like basil tomato cream sauce – more italianish than indian. The tapas we ordered were also great, and all $1!!!:lamb sliderscheese and mushroom samposamini cheese dosaespecially good – kali mirchi kar tikka: chicken with crushed pepper in a delicious sauce…Neve
Lots of review for you Middlesex Lounge. Well I like this place. A friend of mine invited me here. We were at the Phoenix Landing on a thursday night and we decided to go there. It was my first time. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Thursday night is great the music is like a house music genre. The club is clean but can be packed late at night. The crowd is mixed. The energy of the dancers on the dancefloor is incredible. They usually make a circle in the middle of the dancefloor and people will start to dance one by one, there is some breakdance as well. There is a great dancer, he is black, he has so much energy, he even invited me in the middle to show my moves lol. I did ok and it was so much fun. I will come back I just don’t know when. If you are looking for a new hip place to relax and have a drink Red Sky is the place for you!! With its inviting ambiance, delicious variety of food, mouthwatering cocktails and not to mention Bostons sexiest bartenders and cocktail waitresses, why go anywhere else?!?! Out off all of the places in the area the staff at Red Sky gets an A+ for service! Drinks and food are brought out promptly and always with a smile 🙂 One of the many perks about Red Sky is they serve food every night until 1am!!! So after drinking a few of their signature Red Sky Martini’s ( my personal fave) and the late night hunger kicks in, order up few of their yummy apps!!
