Where is the Best Celebrity Chef in Dallas, Texas?
My boyfriend and I were looking for a really great seafood place, and decided to try Chamberlain’s for his birthday dinner. It was just perfect. The ambiance was cozy and romantic and the food was amazing. We started with the calamari, which was a huge portion, however my boyfriend still managed to finish all of it! Then I had a baby spinach salad with sun-dried cherries and pecans that was mouth-watering. I love salads like this! My boyfriend had the gumbo and said it was the best he’s ever had. Next, for our entrees, I had the sea scallops that were perfectly cooked and delicious; and he had the cioppino-the seafood stew. The cioppino was so amazing! I had never had anything like this, and I will definitely be going back for more! It was full of lobster, scallops, fish, and shrimp- almost too much for one person! Also, the lobster mac and cheese was incredible. I was ridiculously full by this point, but we had to try a dessert- the lemon pie. It was the perfect ending to our meal. Al
I’m a huge cake fan and love trying out different bakeries in different cities and of course plenty in my own town. After seeing an ad in the Dallas magazine for Society Bakery and also a Dallas wedding magazine, I decided to try this place out. I came early on a Saturday and encountered no line and a super friendly staff. The girl was helpful in the selection of treats, which I would have to say is not much of a wide selection I was expecting out of a bakery. However, I picked one each of vanilla and chocolate cupcake, the brownie, an M&M cookie, vanilla and chocolate petit four. The cupcakes were fantastic!! The cake was moist, the frosting had the right amount of sweetness, and the combination of the frosting to the cake were about right. The vanilla cupcake tasted surprisingly better than the chocolate because I’m a huge chocolate fan and thought I’d would prefer the other way around. The brownie and the cookie tasted good but nothing to rave about and I was disappointed wi
I concur : THE BEST FRENCH DIP that I have ever eaten anywhere. It’s served on a toasted soft sub roll with fresh baked Prime Rib piled high on it (whatever color that you prefer) and steaming hot Au Jus to dip in. The whole thing comes with a choice of soup or salad, fresh home baked breads, and a lovely strawberry dipped in rich dark chocolate! It’s a wonderful feast even for my hearty appetite. My wife actually found this little place first, when she was looking for a nice quiet place to have “afternoon high tea with her girlfriends”. They were getting very tired of the “not so service-people and extremely high prices” that they encountered elsewhere (like a hotel that starts with an ‘A’) where they were usually having tea at downtown, so she looked around to see where else in town served High Tea. She found several including Eden. They started meeting for tea at a new place each week, but were finding very mediocre food and service with high prices, UNTIL they found Eden! She
