Where is the Best Caterer in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
The service is what impressed me most; very attentive and knowedgable. Food presentation was first rate, with an appetizing placement of foods and sauces. My party and I enjoyed a wide array of items; From poultry, to steak, to seafood. All were deemed very good to excellent. I myself enjoyed the Salmon Oscar, a large portion of very fresh Atlantic salmon filet blanketed with equally fresh crab meat, lightly dressed in a velvatine rich bernaisse. The side of garlic mashed potatoes were a savory compliment to the complex flavors of the entree. An appetizer of crab cakes with dijon aloui sauce was both delightful and well presented. With tables adequately spaced, a fine harp presentation providing background, the dining area colored in floral design, and natural and candle-lit ambiance, I would rate this as one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.Pros + Service, Food, AmbianceCons – Parking, Coat Room Location
My experience with D’Amico was incredibly subpar– it took up to two weeks to receive responses from the caterering coordinators, and they could not keep straight details such as where I was having my reception. The attitude was very much “we’re too busy for you”, and their service charges/taxes almost equaled the price of the food! At the last minute, I backed out and am now working with 3Sons Catering – the best decision I’ve made so far in my wedding planning!
My girlfried and myself attended the January wine tasting at the St Anthony Main Event Center. It was fabulous. They featured just 6 wines which made it very easy to diferentiate between what we were drinking and all the food pairings really accentuated the flavors of the wine. The casual, open house, atmosphere really made it a relaxing evening for both of us. I would highly recomend this event to anyone that has an interest in food and wine pairings.
Annie’s Cooking Tonight has catered many events for us, from private dinners at home, to parties for friends to large functions at my office. Annie’s menus always offer a wide variety and our selections have always been not only delicious but unique, creating a lot of discussion and appreciation among the diners. We have always found Annie’s menus to be easily customizable for our events and she and the staff are very flexible in meeting the particular needs for a party. (For my parent’s 40th wedding anniversary in 2001, Annie prepared food from the 1961 Better Crocker Cookbook!) The staff is professional yet fun and the service is always delivered with care and a dedication to perfection and customer satisfaction.
