Where is the Best Carpet Cleaner in Austin, Texas?
Wow! What a nice experience! Derek arrived promptly at scheduled time, and soon began moving my furniture to clean my carpets. That in itself was great since I was home with a 1 and 3 year old and didn’t have time to move the furniture prior to him coming. He seemed to treat my carpets like they were his own, paying special attention to high traffic areas and newly aquired stains from new puppy:) Having 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 boys with cream colored carpets, I thought having spotless carpets was unattainable. I just had to smile. After he left, it looked almost like it did when we moved in! Thank you so much Absolute Service, looks like I’ll never need to call another carpet cleaning service again.
I specifically asked and paid for window, screen and track cleaning. They wiped screens with a rag, not washed them, and wiped out the tracks, not washed them. They tore my curtain and pushed the curtains back. When I opened my curtains later and saw the tear, I called the company. She came to my home, took my curtain somewhere hopefully to be repaired. I called and called and finally got her. She said she would call me back and after the same song and dance for another week I finally got it out of her that my curtain could not be repaired. Although she offered me a partial refund several times I have not heard back from her or seen one penny! Also, althugh this website and others advertise acceptance of major credit cards, when i went to pay she demanded a check. Now I have no recourse. I would NEVER use this company again!
Steamaster helped me so much! I have really bad allergies here in Austin, plus two cats, so it’s really important that I get my carpets cleaned thoroughly. I tried a few other companies before trying this one, but trust me, these guys are the best. The machines they use are sooo much better than those junky things I used to check out from the grocery store. They’re high-end professional machines that could probably suck your downstairs neighbor out of his apartment. The receptionist was extremely kind and understanding of my situation–she’s definitely an expert in carpet cleaning. She explained everything that they were going to do, and she made sure to schedule my appointment at a convenient time for me–in fact, they saw me the same day! The man who came out to my place (Jim) was really nice, and he was also a complete expert–he’s been cleaning carpets for a really long time. He got out all the weird stains my cats put on the carpet from throwing up and dragging dirt in,
I have used K&M twice. The first time I did the normal steam service and was very satisfied. The second go round I needed them to address a pet pee spot, one of our older dogs had an accident and I needed it GONE! I’m a carpet nazi, I do not allow shoes on my carpet and I vacuum almost every day if that tells you the level of cleanliness I maintain in my house. So during K&M’s second time out, they used their pet odor eliminator enzyme along with their mild cleanser that they always use. It seemed to do the trick, but weeks after I was still smelling the enzyme in the carpet. I should tell you that both my husband and I are EXTREMELY sensitive to smells. I can only describe the leftover enzyme smell as dirty dishwater. Now, like I said, other people that have had the enzyme used during their service might not ever smell what I described, but like I said, I have a sensitive sniffer. I suppose my point here is that I do not believe that there is anything inherently wrong with K&M’s chemi
The Steam Team scheduled us in a short time for air duct cleaning. They gave me a estimate of the work to be done over the phone so I knew what to expect. The Technician, Leo, was great. He arrived within the 30-45 minutes after he called . He greeted me with a smile and handshake. He introduced himself (LEO) and began evaluating the work ahead.Leo was very professional. He evaluated all the vents and ducts and gave me an estimate. He also suggested a anitmicrobial fog that could help my husband’s allergies. He did not pressure me but just remained informative about the treatment. I declined at first since it was an additional cost but decided later to do it since my husband has been suffering with allergies. Leo worked continuously the entire 3 1/2 hours he was in our home. He was also careful with our new wood floors and put towels under the feet of the ladderso as not scratch our floors. He answered all my questions at any time, and explained and showed me what he was doing. EXC
