Where is the Best Business Hotel in Dallas, Texas?
Last time I saw this hotel, I was a student at SMU and it was a run down dump. But wow, what a difference a few years make. My wife and I gave it a try for our 2nd anniversary and I was not disappointed. You walk in and are greeted by a very friendly staff immediately, and the receptionist promptly upgraded us to the luxury suite upon checkin. Downside though, there is no parking so you have to use valet (I think $18 a night when I stayed there). The room was immaculate with a modern decor, yet very spaceous with an excellent use of natural light from the windows. However when we closed the curtains, it was hard to tell if it was daytime or nightime, so you can create the environment you want. The restaurant was also well quaffed with great food. The pool and the hot tub was the finest I’ve seen at a 4 star establishment, hands down.
