Where is the Best Buffet in Atlanta, Georgia?
If you want a steak now, and dont want to wait–head over to Picanha!! It’s a Brazilian style buffet, and is all you can eat meat!! Food was good, and the price was really really reasonable. I have always stayed away from these types of steakhouses in the past because people say they’re really expensive, but this one was not, at all! Now for the downside– the decor is similar to that of a cafeteria, so not great for a date. And I was really confused when I walked in about whether we were supposed to sit down first, or help ourselves, or pay first or eat first, etc. I’ll save you the worry–take a seat, tell the waitress you want the buffet, and then eat eat eat. You take your plate up to the “steak section” and they’ll carve off as much as you want. And like I said before, it’s delicious!Pros + Great meat, awesome buffet, really affordableCons – Was confused about where to sit..
A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery’s looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!
Front Page news is a staple on the Midtown Mile. It consistently provides a menu with tons of variety as well as a great drinking patio. You want a happy hour with a big pitcher of beer and an incredible patio with skyline views of the Midtown skyline? The Front Page News is the place for you. This gem usually holds a younger business crowd that keeps the party going long into the night on weekends. Great spot for happy hours and gamedays!
We are residents of Decatur and eat out very often. We were very frequent Mick’s customers and were sad to see them close. But Parkers has definitely “one upped them” in food and with a beautiful atmosphere and style. This location–particularly the patio– is best in Decatur for people watching, atmosphere, shade– as we LOVE to eat outdoors anytime we can. Their patio is suberb. We have eaten there dozens and dozens of times and have never been disappointed with food or service even one time. The servers are all very good and we have some that have been absolutlety delightful, attentive, fun, and very friendly. The BEST! Everyone makes you feel very welcome from Host to Managers to Owners– as well as servers. Truly our Number 1 Decatur favorite! All they need is those WHEAT rolls as an option they’ll be PERFECT!Pros + Location, View, Food, Service, Owners and Managers!Cons – Can be pricey and need bread variety (ie wheat option)
Based on the reviews: I decided to take my Mother here for her B-day lunch. I REALLY loved the restaurant’s ambience! Loved the wooded walls/floors/tables/etc. Very “inviting” feel to the restaurant! We are NOT completely new to eating sushi–but completely new at trying Thai Food. The waiter was extremely patient and VERY kind to us — especially after I told him we were “new” to eating this type of cuisine. That was a HUGE plus–and is enough to make me want to come back repeatedly for such GREAT customer service! He explained and clarified all of my questions. He also made great suggestions when I asked him to. He just delivered very admirable Customer Service that exceeded our expectations! (THANK YOU!)I tried the Pad Thai that everyone seems to give high reviews to…and my Mother ordered the Pad See Ew. I tasted both–and I fell in love with the Pad See Ew MORE than their signature Pad Thai. I’ve never had Pad Thai before visiting Shallots…so I am really not in a
