Stayed for one night over the Columbus Day weekend on a leisure trip for some sightseeing and a local convention. The Hotel has a superb location for sightseeing in and around the Inner Harbor, but they’re charging four-star prices for (at best) three-star accommodations. Or simply charging for convenience above all else. Their Bistro 300 restaurant was “OK” but overpriced…

We were double booked, so one out of the two rooms we had had to be relocated to the Holiday inn, which was down the street. Although it was inconvenient, The Days Inn comped the relocated room making it less expensive for us to stay. One other issue was that our phone was not working so we would have to go down to the front desk anytime we needed anything. The staff and managers were very apologetic and we were compensated in other ways, such as the free breakfast buffet the following morning.

The room was clean, but the light was an issue. room was very dark. needs more lighting in the room. Bathroom floor was not cleaned as well as it should. i could feel build up on the bathroom floor, kind of like they mopped it but did not do the final wipe to wash off the cleaning product they used to clean it with….. not enough towels and 1 bar soap 1 shampoo was all i got. for two adults. Staff could do better with customer service. …
