Where is the Best Budget Hotel in Austin, Texas?
me & my son stayed at the radisson & really enjoyed our stay. The staff was fantastic, friendly & very helpful. The renovation to the lobby is finished & having TGI Friday’s & Starbucks there was wonderful. I did not notice any road noise like other people stated. There is also another advantage to staying there & it is that you can watch the bats fly you have a front seat view, my son thought that was cool. thank you all to all the employees at Radisson, Starbucks & last but not least TGI Fridays. I also would like to say I slept great there, the bed was the most wonderful thing to sleep in.Pros + service, locationCons – parking expensive
We booked the hotel after recommendations on Tripadvisor at quite laye notice and managed to book the final 2 rooms available. Although the rooms were quite small by American standards they were more than adequate for a couple to spend a few days in. On checking in the staff were friendly and efficient but seem quite strict for the check…
I stay at this hotel every time I travel to Austin and don’t even look elsewhere when booking a hotel. Its basically a condo/apartment complex converted to a hotel so you get your own apartment with full kitchen and living room. Your front door opens to a nice patio/balcony surrounded by lush green lanscaping with mature trees in a quiet part of town. They serve a full breakfast, nothing special except that you can sit sit at the poolside and enjoy the great outdoors and the nice Austin (most of the time) weather. Feels like coming home to my own place after a night out on sixth street which is just a short drive away.Pros + Great atmoshereCons – None
What a great hotel! great price, great service and nice rooms. The beds had fluffy bedding and so many different kinds of pillows from firm to super soft feather that I had a hard time deciding which one to pick. What a great idea! I always think pillows are too hard in a hotel and they nipped it before I even had an opportunity to think that. The location of this business hotel was right off of 35 and 5 min from downtown. The management was around walking the lobby area at all times, so very accessible if you needed anything and the hotel over all was very nice. The decor in the lobby is Austin Western and the restaurant has the biggest chairs to sit in I have ever seen in a restaurant on a hotel, actually in any restaurant. The waitress that served me was very nice and efficient as well. They have nice buffet Breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reasonable price or you can order off the menu. I snacked on the tortilla chips and salsa and I think they made both from scratch, the
