Where is the Best Budget Date Spot in Portland, Oregon?
Portland’s Art Museum is very special.Recently,I enjoyed its great exhibition of Dutch Master paintings from Amsterdam’s Rijkmuseum(Rembrandt,Frans Hals,Isaac Elyas,Jan Steen just to name a few).I also enjoyed its excellent permanent collection of Italian Renaissance paintings,French paintings,American paintings,and Twentieth Century Art. My personal favorites were;Taddeo Gaddi’s”Nativity”,Joachim Patinir’s”Crucifixion”,Thomas Blanchet’s”Mercury and Herse”,Georges Michel’s”Landscape”,Oswald Aschenbach’s”Autumn Landscape”,Claude Monet’s”River at Lavacourt”,Renoir’s”Seine at Argentieul”,Franz Von Stuck’s”Allegory Figure…
I think the Rose Test Gardens are absolutely beautiful. During the peak season of June & July I can’t imagine taking my girlfriend for a walk anywhere else. Had we not gotten engaged early in the year, this was my first choice as the spot to do it. Truly overwhelming and a place I bring all my summer visitors to visit.Bar none, the best rose garden in the country.
I go here a couple of times a month, it’s close to my office, and I always get the Relleno Burrito. I find it super tasty and full of flavor, I add some of the red sauce to the inside. Sometimes I want to try something else but I love the Relleno Burrito too much. I love the quick service and the cheapness of the food. The quality isn’t A+ but it is very good.The thing I don’t like is that I often have to call and call and call because they ignore their phone and I don’t like standing around waiting for my burrito. Also I always eat the whole thing and always want to take a nap by about 2:00 because I’m so full of deliciousness. Some of my coworkers just eat half of one but I lack their willpower.Pros + Cheap, FastCons – Parking, Service, Ambiance
I’m a book lover and I love this place. Best selection of anything and everything I could ever want! Great place to grab a book, some coffee and hang out. Perfect if you’re checking out downtown and want to walk there. Driving is a little less wonderful, but any traffic or parking issues are worth it. I love that place!!!Pros + books, books and more booksCons – it’s perfect. there are no cons!
