This place is best for it’s good pub grub and the Irish feel! If your Irish like me you will find no where to feel more at home at! The Shepards Pie, and Fish & Chips are great and you can wash it all down with a pint of cider or gunniss! Live music and good cheer abound every weekend and sometimes throughout the week.
It’s not illegal to have drunk people IN the bar.It’s illegal to serve them.Went with 5 friends last night and the guy at the door (fairly tall with brown hair), refused to allow my friend into the bar because he thought she was too innebriated to be allowed in.Wouldn’t have been so bad if he wasn’t such a schmuck about it.Had a real bogus sense of entitlement about him.We had a great night and tipped heavily at the CC Club instead.Won’t got to Liquor Lyle’s again.
Check your manners at the door, and leave the plastic at home. This bar is rustic and rude but serves the best coneys and the stiffest drinks this side of a Frat party. Evening menu turns into the Chili-dog nazi- We got dogs and chips!! Good thing they are fantastic. This is the home of the coldest beer and the hottest bartenders (the ladies I mean) You are liable to see the owners johnson at least once per visit if he is off duty. If you are P.C. this is probably not the place for you. I went here last year with a party of 8. The wait wasn’t too long and the staff was nice throughout the visit. Seating was limited since we were there in the winter and the patio was not open. They have a great selection of drinks. A couple of the girls in our party ordered the big volcano (I think that was the name) drink topped off with a flame burning in the middle. Beer was enough for me. Pizza was great, much better than your average chain pizza variety. Overall dinner was a great experience and I loved the ambiance of this place.
