The editorial review is dead wrong. This place serves Italian food as close to authentic as you’ll find anywhere this side of the Atlantic. The dishes use fresh, top-quality ingredients and are prepared simply to bring out the traditional flavor combinations — exactly what you should expect from Italian cuisine. Yes, you can order Italian-American favorites like a meaty lasagna (quite good itself,) but you also find wonderful Italian dishes like squid ink fettucine with calamari and black pepper.
