I had been meaning to check this place out, and get the 411 on what goes on over here. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very friendly host, who advised we MUST eat there. Upon his advisement, we sat down and had ourselves a meal. The menu had a decent selection of burgers, sandwiches, and other staple bar food. My party and I ordered the potato skins, the Guacamole burger, and specialty sandwich. The potato skins were pretty plain, of course they are potato skins. The Guacamole burger and specialty sandwich were excellent. The burger had a spicy guacamole on it, and it was a very hefty serving weighing in at 1/2 pound. The sandwich as well was on par with the burger in terms of it size, and the roast beef was moist and delicious. As far as aesthetics, it’s got a pretty hip vibe to it, though the music was a bit loud considering it was only lunch. The only real downfall of the meal was the service. Several people who had come in after us received their food before us. The

This bar is about a year or so old. It is definitly the class of all bars in PB. It’s only competition might be Johnny V on garnet. The restaurant is a great place to start off your evening, I recommend the free range chicken or swordfish. There is also a sushi bar which I have heard is great. The atmospehere is very modern and hip with sort of a downtown / south beach vibe. Be sure to dress to impress when coming here. Also on weekends and especially in the summer lines can take 3o minutes to an hour to get in. The outdoor patio is right on the beach and there is also an outdoor bar. Be sure to bring your credit when coming here, the drinks are priced similar to a downtown club.

Table for four and all four satisfied! Our diner was DELICIOUS to say the least. I had the New York Steak with Gorgonzola. It came with my favorite Garlic Mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The potatoes were rich and creamy with just the right amount of garlic and the garnish was a very nice touch. My Veggies were stemmed but not limp or soggy and very flavorful. On my next visit I plan on having the Turkey Burger. It was smothered with mushrooms and had a spicy-mayo. Can’t wait.I liked that my Corona came with a chilled mug. The rest of the party ordered wine, tasting was allowed. The water is served in mason jars again nice touch. I’ve always drank out of mason jars after I’ve d finished the delicious jelly, jam or canned peaches my mom has made. Our waitress was friendly, outgoing and attentive. By the way this is my first review-the food was so good I was compelled to share it with San Diego. Happy Eats,Canela.Pros + Two Thumbs up!

I read the review about Royal India’s Indian cuisine in the union tribune today and our company decided to try lunch buffet at Royal India. We loved both the salads, all the chutneys including the mango and yogurt dressing. I loved the samosa with mint chutney and tandoori chicken with tamarind chutney. It was an outstanding experience. Talking about curry OH MY GOD I am addicted to Royal India the roasted chicken cooked in creamy tomato curry I believe its Chicken Tikka Masala and palak paneer the spinach item with farmers cheese in it and vegetables in coconut curry with cashew paste is really great and I agree with the review by Margret King the food editor that it is addictive. I do not like it spicy but the chicken curry and lamb curry looked very tempting. The fresh Nan bread was awesome and I mean it. Two Desserts the silky mango and the rice pudding are must try and Royal India is on our list for once a week office lunch. It was a satisfying experience. Royal India is on the to
