I like the atmosphere, although I wish there were some couches rather than just tables and chairs. The pastas and salads are really, really good- a bit expensive, but worth it. And the best part is that the servers look like they came from an ‘Anti-Republican march’! Always a plus in my book.

Everything is getting back to normal. It is extremely hard as parents to have such a wonderful gift to be put in your lap and asked to raise, nurture and make it happen. I am so happy for Jennifer and Ryan and I think I have a new calling. Do you have a position available for me? I can only pray you have this wonderful experience a head of you. With your help everything went extremely well. Jim and I were so excited about the ceremony and reception that we did not eat anything at the reception. We talked and greeted everyone and danced the night away in celebration of Jennifer and Ryan. Everyone keeps calling and saying what a wonderful wedding and excellent reception. That the food and cake were excellent and the staff was on top of making sure everyone was waited on before they had a chance to even think about being served food, cake or drink. From the first meeting we knew that Green Pastures was the welcoming location for our daughter and new son’s reception. Tanya, yo

I’ve lived in Texas all of my life and have had my share of “Tex-Mex” and what I’ve found in my experiences is that places either execute poorly and sloppy, or they keep the par. What makes places stick out is their twist on the menu. Let’s face it, Tex-Mex is simple. The plates should be as well. There’s nothing spectacular about the cuisine and I think that’s why it appeals to so many people. I usually just cook the stuff at home, but if I DO go out, I go to a specific place for a specific thing. And with the Rio, I go for the atmosphere and clean, fresh food, and of course, the booze. I go there before bouncing around other places to put some grub and drink and enjoy the company I’m in. I like their beer selection–nothing crazy–the bar has what it needs to satisfy any palate. I don’t like how the liquor is limited to tequila, but hey, when in Rome…Now, margaritas are fine for hanging around in the summer, but when it’s cold out, i’ll go for the good stuff “neat” and

The other day I had the most tender tenderloin (a special not on the regular menu) I’ve ever eaten. My husband had the best New York Strip he’s tried. My father-in-law loved the spicy Creole sauce on his crab cakes. And my mother-in-law was in heaven with the delicious desserts.Imagine how surprised we were to have one of our most enjoyable meals ever…in Leander! As Leander residents, we’re thrilled. Sometimes we drive to downtown Austin to eat at quality restaurants…when we have time. And childcare. And a lot to spend. Now we can have steak that beats Ruth’s Chris and Truluck’s, pay less than we would at those restaurants, drive just a few miles, and bring our kids.We love the atmosphere at Moody’s. It is casual and very friendly. The owner talked with us for probably 20 minutes, during which time my husband told him, “You really should offer creme brulee.” A few minutes later, the owner was returning to our table to let us know they’ll have creme brulee for us next
