It was a great experience shopping here for my new garden. I didnt really know much and had so many questions and the staff was ready and willing to help and the variety was amazing! It was high quality products at reasonable prices and I owe my beautiful garden to the staffs helpfulness and patience with all my questions. I highly recommend that anyone shop there! its beautiful and really a great shopping experience, words cant explain my gratitude to this store. Keep up the good work and good luck. EarWax is a Williamsburg institution. It has been around before the word hipster was used for anything besides explaining my grandma’ hip replacement after she got mugged in Brighton Beach. The owner is an old codger who has been collecting records for his own enjoyment which completely translate into the stock he carries. He even goes outside his tastes and sells records that I would play on my worst enemies turntable, but that is the beauty of the store, it is not prejudice and is open to the fact that there are many different tastes in music, good, bad, interesting, plain crap, usually in the dollar bin.This prices are completely reasonable ,they are not snobby and will completely engage in explaining to you the artist, history or the artists and/or record and never force you into a purchase. The only drawback is that you have to wade through a sea of hipsters from the bedford station to get there. But i guess if people can pick up poop after their dogs, they can spend the 5 minu
We had out wedding invitation done here, and it was a great experience!! We knew we were going to design our own invitation, but we wanted some help with the technical aspect of letterpress printing. We were greeted by the cheerful Melinda, and she immediately pulled out boxes of custom design samples for us to look at. And she used the custom samples to explain to us the different things we can do, and pros and cons of using different printing methods to achieve our design goal. She is very knowledgeable and she understands immediately what we want and gives great suggestions. For example, she suggested us to go with a larger printing company, because they usually have more competitive pricing, and since we are not using the design of the stationer anyway, why pay extra? I should also mention that they carry a lot of great stationers whose designs are very unique and beautiful, including some local brooklyn designers.
