Where is the Best Bridal in San Francisco, California?
I love this place! The reason I say it is better than a bridal salon is that the gowns are made right upstairs from her showroom. After you choose your gown – btw they are ALL on display , not in some back room – you have your dress custom made for you. I’ve been if for 2 fittings (I have one more) and the whole experience has been wonderful. If you’re going to spend a lot of money on a wedding dress you should get a couture experience with a patternmaker, seamstress and designer attending to you. Very cool. Everyone who has worked with me has be very nice and unpretentious. Some salons I visited on the gown search felt pushy and tried to use my inexperience at this (most people are!) to their advantage. At Amy Kuschel it was so different. Amber helped me choose my gown. She was a great listener and had such helpful suggestions that I knew in the first 15 minutes that I would get my gown here. Still, she could tell that I was having a hard time deciding so she told me I s
Nicole at Tigresse is AMAZING! I had a vision for a gown and couldn’t find it on the racks anywhere. I finally took it to her and she made it a reality despite the difficulty of what I wanted. She is an outstanding talent and genuinely wonderful and supportive person who is willing to walk her clients through every stage of the design process. Now that she is starting her own line of wedding gear, I’m sure she will be in higher demand, so get in while you can. Talent like this can’t go unnoticed forever. I LOVE TIGRESSE (and I’m 100% sure you will too)!Pros + Amazing service, talent, and productCons – None!
My experience in buying a dress from Suzanne Hanley at Atelier des Modistes was nothing but wonderful. From the moment of entering her magical studio I knew I would have her make my dress. I had been planning on finding a “non-wedding dress” dress for my ceremony, something off-the-rack, maybe not even white. But after I’d visited a number of stores looking and looking and getting very discouraged I found Atelier des Modistes. In one try, Suzanne pulled something from the back of her store, and it was as if she’d read my mind. She knew exactly what I wanted. She even encouraged me to choose my own fabric if I wanted. I am a check-it-off-the-list girl. So the “process” of having a dress made for me, meaning several fittings and decision making was the only thing I worried about (ya know, the “time thing”)…well, it was the BEST experience…I got to really ENJOY the PROCESS of being engaged, get really excited about my wedding, and sink into the joy of creating a beautiful day f
Where do I even beginning to describe what an amazing and personal experience Marc made designing my engagement ring. My fiance and I had been to numerous fine jewelers in the hunt for a ring and all of them left me feeling there was something lacking. When I ran across Hand in Hand?s website, I was excited at the prospect of getting something more unique, but I had no idea what was in store for me when my fiance and I went in for our first consultation. Not only was it a completely painless process, I had a blast talking to Marc, and the sheer genuine interest he had in what I was hoping to do and who we are as a couple completely blew me away. If you are looking for an amazing, unique, high quality, and thoughtful piece of jewelry look no further. Marc?s straightforward manner is really refreshing, since so often you leave a jewelry store feeling like you have spent time in a used car lot. He is more than happy to go into every detail or the process, and if you are a stickler for de
If I could award more than 5 stars to Marina Morrison, I would!! I shopped for wedding dresses this spring/summer (2007), and being a very thorough person, I went EVERYWHERE, including Neiman Marcus, Saks, Jin Wang, Bridal Galleria and Marina Morrison. Hands down, Marina Morrison was the BEST. They are true crafts(wo)men, NOT salespeople. At other salons, I felt like the saleswomen were just pushing me to buy the most expensive dress, and every time I tried one on, they would tell me how “fabulous” it looked, and how it must be “the one.” How many times can you say that with a straight face?? At Marina Morrison, they asked a lot of questions, helped me figure out what I was looking for, and made sure that I was absolutely in love with the dress I chose. Their comments were so helpful, and they never pushed me toward any particular dress. They could tell (through body language, expressions, etc) which dress I felt happiest in, which is so helpful when you are choosing amongst
